Adding cover arts to your iPod / iTunes albums
Recently I've realized that having the grey photo on the display of your iPod when is playing a song is not cool. As you can see, I'm becoming a fanboy day by day.
Coverarts can be added in some different ways.
The easiest way is searching the image (Google Images, p.e.) and add it to the album using drag & drop. This can be useful for a pair albums, but, what happen if your iTunes library have lots of it without an illustration?
Then, you have to sign in to your iTunes Store account (is necessary) and select all albums you have on your library. Now do right click, and go to "find illustrations" (or something like that, I've the Spanish version of iTunes). The application will start searching all the cover arts on the web :-)
The problem is that this way not always work fine with all your albums. It found around the 60% percent of my library (an huge library). How can I find the rest of my albums' cover arts? Using a thirty part software. Samuel talked me about "Sing That iTune", but it doesn' t seem to scan an entire directory, it only work song by song, so searching in Google I found Jaikoz, a program which license is shareware and you can only edit as much 20 songs per time. If you want to do all at the same time, you can buy a license, that costs L15. This software is very intuitive. Once you have set the preferences you like, you only have to add a folder to start scanning all the music. What I love of this program is that not only search the illustrations, it also fix your ID3 tags, which can be very useful to stop viewing the "unknown" album on our iPod.
If you know a free software that works with iTunes 8, please, let me know :D
